Ingredients & Dosage


Ayurveda prescribes many naturally occurring plants and herbs which are known for their medicinal properties. Swarnaprashan contains Suvarna Bhasma, Indravarna, Brahmi, Shankhpushpi, Vaj, Honey, and Ghee which together form this immunity-boosting mixture required for the healthy development of the body.


Suvarna Bhasma ( Gold Ash ): Suvarna Bhasma or Gold ash is beneficial for increasing immunity and treating various other diseases. It acts as an adjuvant which increases the immune response of our body to the antigen. It is also favorable for increasing memory, intelligence, lifespan, skin glow.


Indravarna: The fruits of Indravarna are important for treating asthma, earache, and diseases related to the nose. The plant can also be used as a remedy for fever, a laxative, and effective for treating migraines.


Brahmi: Brahmi, also known as Bacopa, is effective for strengthening memory, intelligence, focus, concentration, increases healthy blood cells, improves skin and hair.


Shankhpushpi: Shankhpushpi is known for its medicinal effects on the brain. The flower of the plant is used as a brain tonic, laxative, aphrodisiac, rejuvenator, health, and complexion promotor. 


Honey: Honey is used in the treatment of eye diseases, cough, thirst, hiccups, blood in vomit, diabetes, obesity, and healing wounds.


Vaj: The rhizomes of the plant are used for enhancing memory, longevity, voice clarity, treating sinus congestion, asthma, cough, and fever.


Ghee: Ghee is known to have many health benefits. It helps in reducing weight, provides energy, reduces the risk of cancer, heart diseases, and diabetes, lowers cholesterol, boosts digestion, improves immunity, and increases appetite.



Who should take Swarnaprashan ( Suvarna Prashan ) ?

  • Swarnaprashan ( Suvarna Prashan ) can be given to children between 0 to 12 years. It can be taken daily for a period of 120 days, beginning from Pushya Nakshatra

Swarnaprashan ( Suvarna Prashan ) drops can be given every day as per child’s age:

  • 0 - 2 years = 2 drops
  • 2 – 12 years = 5 drops

When to take:

  • On empty stomach preferably in morning.
